Dr. Voellinger founded SouthEast Bariatrics . He specializes in almost every facet of obesity surgery, including Lap-Band, gastric bypass, and vertical sleeve gastrectomy. Dr. Voellinger completed both his medical degree and residency at the University of Alabama before going on to a Fellowship at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York. He is a member of several medical organizations such as the American College of Surgeons, the Society of America Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, and the American Society of Bariatric Surgery.
